University Professor Dr. Walter Doralt
Prof. Doralt's work focuses on civil law, corporate law and European private law. He also works methodically in these areas in terms of the economic analysis of law and comparative law (Germany, England, France, Italy and Switzerland). At the University of Graz, Walter Doralt was a member of the Working Group for Equal Opportunities (AKGL) from 2020 to 2024. He is Chairman of the Best of REWI Commission and has been Vice Dean and Dean of Research since 2023. As President, he heads the Association of Friends of the University of Graz, Grazer Universitätsbund, as well as the European Law Institute (ELI) Austrian Hub and the jury of the ELI Young Lawyers Award. He is also Correspondent of UNIDROIT (Rome) and Fellow of the European Center of European Tort and Insurance Law (ECTIL).
