Assistant Professor Dr. iur. Peter Schwarzenegger

Peter Schwarzenegger has been a member of the Institute for Civil Law, Foreign and Private International Law for many years and has always been heavily involved in teaching: He holds lectures for both first-year and advanced students and also teaches at the Sowi Faculty. In his research, he has devoted himself not only to classical dogmatic topics, but also to legal issues at the interface between Austrian law and the law of the European Union and has worked on international comparative law research projects (Common Core of European Private Law, ECTIL). His current work focuses on succession law, consumer protection law and tort law.
