Jakob Bögner, Mag.iur.
Jakob Bögner is a university assistant at the Institute. In law, he is particularly interested in social and socio-political issues - such as the importance of protecting the vulnerable and gender equality. In his interdisciplinary dissertation project, he is researching Austrian divorce law. He deals with the question of what hurdles divorcing spouses have to contend with in terms of the law - and what the law should be like in order to ensure a "good" divorce. Jakob Bögner is very keen to communicate the law simply. In his teaching, he pays attention to linguistic simplicity and creating a pleasant atmosphere. Away from the university, Jakob Bögner is a soccer referee and mediator.
