Mag.iur. Nikolas Raunigg, LL.M.
Nikolas Raunigg is a university assistant at the Institute for Civil Law, Foreign and Private International Law. He completed his law degree at the University of Graz in 2019 and already worked as a student assistant in Brigitta Lurger's department during his studies. His academic interest lies in the interplay of private law dogmatics with neighboring disciplines within and outside of law that negotiate fundamental social decisions. In his dissertation, he therefore deals with the change in the media order mediated by private law through social media. In 2024, Nikolas Raunigg also completed an LL.M. program at Yale Law School as a Fulbright Scholar - in 2023 and 2024 he was also a Resident Fellow of the Information Society Project at the same law school.
