Dr. Petra Leupold, LL.M. (UCLA)

Petra Leupold is Head of Enforcement at the Association for Consumer Information (VKI) and a board member of noyb (European Centre for Digital Rights). She was head of the VKI Academy as well as a post-doctoral and post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Civil and Corporate Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at the Institute for Civil Procedure, Insolvency Law and Comparative Procedural Law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

She is editor-in-chief of the Zeitschrift für Verbraucherrecht (VbR, published by Manz), a member of the editorial board of the specialist journal Recht der Wirtschaft (RdW, LexisNexis) and the author of numerous publications on civil, corporate and civil procedural law.

Her research and work focuses on European consumer private and procedural law, competition law as well as digitalisation and data protection.

She teaches consumer law at several universities and has been a lecturer at the Institute for Civil Law, Foreign and Private International Law at the University of Graz since 2024.
