As a consultant to the Austrian Ombudsman Board, Wolfgang Kleewein is primarily concerned with regional planning, building, road and municipal law. He has taught for many years at the University of Graz (private and public environmental law) and at the Carinthian Academy of Administration (public building law) and is a member of the advisory board of "baurechtlichen blätter".
His research focuses on regional planning, building and environmental law, and his publications often deal with interdisciplinary topics at the interface between administrative law and private law (e.g. on contractual spatial planning and official liability).
