Mag.a iur. Lena Jungwirth

Lena Jungwirth discovered her interest in academic work while working as a student assistant at the Department for Civil Law, Foreign Law and Private International Law. As part of her diploma thesis, she dealt with the private international law of organ donation and completed her studies in September 2022. She has been working as a university assistant since October 2022.

Her research focuses on Austrian family law. In her dissertation, she deals with Austrian parentage law and examines the question of how the parentage of a child is to be assessed in different family constellations and which legal adjustments could be necessary in order to be able to regulate parental relationships beyond the constellations regulated de lege lata in the ABGB in the future.
