Am 24.11. fand der 1. Grazer Erbrechtstag unter der Leitung von Herr Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gregor Christandl LL.M. und Frau Mag. Alice Perscha statt. Der Grazer Erbrechtstag versteht sich als ein Forum des Austauschs zwischen Wissenschaft und Praxis für alle, die im Bereich des Erbrechts tätig sind. Vorgetragen wurde zu unterschiedlichen erbrechtlichen Themen, wobei auf ein ausgewogenes Gewicht von Wissenschaftlern und Praktikern Wert gelegt wurde. Der 2. Grazer Erbrechtstag ist bereits in Planung und findet im November 2024 statt.
ENN Transnational Forum Alpe Adria des European Notarial Network
Professor Gregor Christandl nimmt am Montag, 23.10.2023, als Mitglied der Delegation der Österreichischen Notariatskammer am ENN Transnational Forum Alpe Adria des European Notarial Network teil. Gegenstand des Seminars sind praktische Fälle zur Anwendung der Europäischen Erbrechtsverordnung. Die Veranstaltung wird live gestreamt und aufgenommen. Eine Anmeldung ist unter diesem Link möglich.
Gastprofessur in Mailand
Professor Gregor Christandl wurde für das Studienjahr 2023/2024 zum Gastprofessor an der Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano ernannt und wird dort als Inhaber des renommierten Balladore Pallieri Chair im Februar 2024 einen Kurs zu „Liability in the Digital Age“ halten. Dabei wird er sich mit Fragen der Haftung für künstliche Intelligenz befassen.
The Balladore Pallieri Chair
The Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan welcomes two Visiting Professors per year, one for each semester. They are invited to hold the newly created Balladore Pallieri Chair.
Giorgio Balladore Pallieri (1905-1980) served as a Dean of the Faculty for decades. A prominent scholar of International and Constitutional Law, he was made a judge of the European Court of Human Rights in 1959, and was the President of the Court from 1970 to 1974.
The Balladore Pallieri Chair is granted to professors from all areas of law, coming from any country. The first holder of the Chair was Théodore Christakis, of the University of Grenoble, who taught a course on Data Protection, Data Governance and AI Regulation. Eventually, the Chair was held by Jan Wouters, of the Khatolieke Universiteit Leuven, who gave a course on The European Union, International Law, and Global Governance.

Am 2. Juni 2023 traf sich das European Notarial Network (ENN) in Wien, unter der wissenschaftlichen Leitung von Professor Gregor Christandl und der Notarin Alice Perscha. Im Rahmen der Konferenz kamen Experten aus ganz Europa zusammen, um sich zum Thema "Practical Experience with European Certificate of Succession" auszutauschen.

Am 15./16. Juli hat Prof. Christandl an der internationalen Konferenz zum Thema „Administration of Estates“ im Rahmen des Projekts Comparative Succession Law am Max Planck Institut in Hamburg mit einem Referat zu Italien teilgenommen.
